Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrading gear increases its stats base and often boosts its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements and how many random augmentations are applied.
The elite racial Shield Razortail For instance, it is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP, and/or to provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an item you have acquired, such as armor, weapon or rings. This swaps the current item for one similar one, with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective way to upgrade gear. They don't preserve the original item's level and any money wasted won't get compensated.
The surviving players can acquire reroll tokens in several ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or purchased from the market for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of a piece equipment, for example increasing its damage.
Players can roll equipment in three categories: physical power, spell power and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage done by weapons and melee attacks and spell power boosts rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to higher quality. To create them, you need a higher level reroll token. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
Unlike other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the spot until the next success result is rerolled. This helps you not waste upgrades.
Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they display an image and description of the Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's shop can exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.
As a result, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This affects the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers to reroll and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that boost the level of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. In addition, players can get these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment players must first find the item they want to upgrade and then click on the ”level up” button. This will show a list of the item's current level and what it will become when it is upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.
After deciding on what to upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, they can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level a certain percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item the upgrade process can take between seconds and minutes.
The upgrade process is risk-free, and does not impact the durability of the item. This is a great way for players who want to gain an advantage in battle, but don't want to strain their wallets. By clicking on the ”transfer tab”, players can also transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded piece of gear onto an entirely new piece of equipment.
New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are many methods to get the stones. You can sign contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets players boost the stats of their weapons armor, helms and trinkets. It is achieved by the combination of an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will use up the upgrade materials and grant the item an upgrade level, giving the item an additional boost in that particular area. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an Best item upgrade is reached.
Items with upgraded stats will have a blue icon next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be applied to more than one item at once. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a particular quantity of items to be applied, as well as an appropriate level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station features two slots: the first is where players can add a piece of equipment to be upgraded, while the right slot shows a preview of what the equipment will appear like when it reaches its next level. When the player has enough items and has pressed the yellow arrow will begin the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
Once an item reaches its maximum level and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option of upgrading. When a piece of equipment attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be slotted into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools to give an added bonus or effect while the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, except for glyphs, which can be replaced and removed at any time.
Requirements
The upgrades to items allow players the ability to boost certain stats on armor and weapons that they currently have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item vary depending on its type however, you'll usually require Dilithium as well as the number of Upgrade Tokens.
Upgrades to items can be incorporated into equipment set pieces or weapons to provide additional effects or to increase the level of the item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, such as crafting, purchasing at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting during bosses and raids. Upgrades can increase the Mark Level of an item upgrades or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can increase the stats of the item.
For instance, the helm upgrade ”Foundation of the Sun” increases base defense, and provides an additional 20% chance of blocking. Additionally the dps enhancement ”Wildfire” boosts weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable for the players when they achieve the perfect roll. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.
The game will highlight the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that goes into the item. The game will show the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item upgrades.
