How to Upgrade Items in Pokemon GO

The Upgrade is one the most important items in Pokemon GO. It lets trainers evolve Porygon into Porygon2 and it also gives them a chance to grow in their Pokedex.

It is a rare item, but can be found by spinning a Photo Disc at a Pokestop, or as a prize for special occasions. What does this item do?

Components

Upgrade components can be added to weapons, trinkets or gathering tools to give them an additional benefit. They are a vital component in the crafting process and can be obtained through salvaging or purchased from vendors. They can be found as drops in the game dropped by enemies, or gathered from spheres of items. They can be used to upgrade weapons or armor with an upgrade slot.

Using upgrade components to maximize the amount of experience gained from upgrading equipment and weapons is essential to reach the highest level of progress in the game. The addition of organic components to an upgraded item will increase its multiplier of experience, whereas mechanical components will decrease it. The Best item upgrader combination is a high experience-multiplier organic component followed by a low-experience-multiplier mechanical component. This will increase the amount of experience you acquire and help you get to the next level.

The upgrade system is complex, and it's important to understand how it operates so that you can benefit the most from your upgrades. The system keeps a running total of the component you are upgrading. Each component has an experience multiplier that can be negative or positive. When the total is at the threshold the system resets it to zero.

Additionally the amount of time gained from each upgrade component is determined by the hidden rank of the item being upgraded as well as its experience multiplier. The higher-ranked items are more difficult to upgrade, while the lower-ranked ones are easier to obtain.

If a new version of the hardware is installed, it's crucial to remove all existing connections and fasteners that held the old component in place. Save them for later use in a parts tray for easy identification and safe-keeping. When the new hardware is installed, re-connect any wires or cables and connect the power supply to electrical power. Then, test the computer by switching it on. If everything is connected properly the computer will boot up normally. This is a crucial step to ensure that the new hardware is compatible with your current systems and will operate seamlessly.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be an excellent tool to enhance your equipment but you must understand how to utilize it. Each glyph has a variety of values that it can enhance a substat by increasing its rank, and higher-rank Glyphs are more powerful. Choose wisely because you can only upgrade glyphs once. Glyphs are only available only once, and they'll disappear after you have used them on an object or artifact.

The most useful symbols are those which increase your chances to roll an affix of the desired tier or type. These are often found on the most expensive armor, weapons and other accessories. They can also be found on the Paragon Board. They are worth the effort, however they aren't always easy to locate.

Glyphs can be found in the Black Lion Chests, or purchased at the Trading Post. Certain glyphs can only be used once, while others will remain in place. They are ideal for items that need to be re-rolled frequently. The Glyph of Hope allows you to increase your chances of obtaining an affix that is specific by creating a magical effect on an item.

Some glyphs can also be used to alter existing affixes. This is typically seen on gloves, boots and belts, which are can accommodate four different affixes. The Glyph of Insight, for instance, changes the prefix to an experimental affix. This is a helpful tool for those who want a high-quality affix in the specified slot or need to maximize damage output.

Once you've reached level 50, the shape of the game changes dramatically. You'll no longer be able to count on the campaign. Instead, you'll be required to navigate the Paragon Board, Nightmare Dungeons and new grinds in order to optimize your game.

The most effective glyphs are ones that correspond to your character's specialization, for example the Exploit Glyph which increases damage against vulnerable enemies. Control Glyph is another good glyph that increases damage to enemies that are stunned, frozen, or slowed. Each symbol has a radius and the radius increases as you upgrade it. This makes glyphs a great option to upgrade your gear late in the game.

Reroll tokens

These aren't offered by the shop or reroll, but are instead transferred to the Non-droppable Pool when players select the Food Card that requires new ingredients or equipment.
