A transparent device that makes certain Pokemon species change. It was developed by Silph Co.
The item upgrader is an additional widget to the top of both the Angel and Cash Upgrade Windows. This Manager costs 33 billion Angel Investors, and has no benefit in terms of gameplay other than making it easier to buy upgrades.
Boosts
There are many boosts you can get with an upgrader. They can include stats and additional bonuses. These bonuses can be used on armor, weapons, and trinkets. They can be used to boost the capabilities of a character, or give a new dimension of variety to their character.
The World of Warcraft upgrade system allows players to upgrade their equipment by paying currency to an item upgrader. This system was first introduced in Mists of Pandaria, and continued in Warlords Of Draenor. It's a great method to boost the level of your equipment, allowing you skip the tedious grind of questing and avoiding many wipes in Mythic+ dungeons.
When an item is upgraded, its base type changes. When upgrading a normal item, it creates an Exceptional item and upgrading an Exceptional item will create an Elite version of the same base item. The item will keep the stats it had prior to upgrading, and will receive an additional bonus from its new base type. This bonus will be randomly chosen from the following options: the chance to acquire a weapon with an increased damage range, a chance to obtain an enhanced reload speed or a chance to acquire a higher max defense roll.
The amount of extras that you gain by upgrading is contingent on the number of upgrades completed. Each upgrade boosts the corresponding extras by an increment of 1, up to a maximum of three. Each upgrade will also increase the stats in the main menu by +1.
In addition to the stat increase Certain upgrades can give a random secondary boost. These boosts can be quite useful and should be taken into consideration when deciding what items to upgrade. Some boosts are suitable for specific builds (such as Whistan's shield in FB sorcs) while others could provide an enormous amount of value to certain collectors.
Some items have an inherent boo that is less useful when upgraded, for example the Goldwrap which gives extra potion slots. These are often upp'd to inject more value into a perfect or near-perfect item.
Costs
There are a few costs that are associated with upgrades to items. The most significant cost is the upgrade item itself. This cost can be expensive and depends on the new level of the item level upgrade as well as the number of perks it receives. It can also be costly to upgrade an item to a better tier (such as Explorer > Champion, or Veteran > Heroic).
The other is the cost of the items needed to upgrade. These items are usually Power Dices (dropped from monsters 21+), Minerals and Erons or a specific Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor Quests. The amount of these items required is available in the inventory of an upgrade vendor.
The process of upgrading an item is an intricate process that takes time. Based on the magnitude of the upgrade, it could take anywhere from 8 to 12 hours. The stats that are the base of the upgraded item are calculated based on the new ilvl and other characteristics. This calculation determines the new Armor Class bonus, damage dice, and other important statistics. In certain cases upgrades can provide additional perks. These perks are available on a list.
Rarely, the new advantages gained will cost more than one perk slot In these cases, the upgrade will only replace the highest-cost perks. Sometimes, the upgrader will make other adjustments to an item, like changing the type of weapon damage or adding or removing an unwieldy or operational property. The cost for these modifications is based on the new ilvl of the item, and may require a special material like the adamantine alloy.
Success Rate
The upgrading of an item is dependent on the chance. Like any random system, there is a possibility that it won't succeed. There are a few ways to increase the chances of success. This includes using an Upgrade Pity or adding extra materials to your upgrade item.
The Upgrade Pity can be bought through the NPC for crafting in Lost Ark. It increases the chance of a successful upgrade by a percentage. It's similar to the ”luck bonus” that some items provide however it is more reliable. It can be added to any weapons or armor, and is used three times.
You can also add additional components to the upgrade to increase its chances of success. These are displayed in a separate window, above the + button. There are a few limitations. The maximum amount of material you can add is shown directly above the + button.
A Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version, can be used to increase the likelihood of a successful upgrade. This item can be useful when your piece of equipment or weapon is near or has reached the top level of its level. This item will allow you upgrade the equipment to the next tier without risking its breaking.
If an upgrade is unsuccessful it will be restored to its previous state. This is usually an error, but it could also be a downgrade. Keep an upgrade in reserve until you're close to the maximum level of an item.
Kafra has a range of products that can be utilized to increase the chance of a successful upgrade. You can boost your chances of success by upgrading your equipment multiple times with HD Oridecon and HD Elunium. The chance of success will be increased if you can increase your chances of receiving a Double Mint by Shoe-Minting five times.
Failure Rate
The item upgrader allows players to add an additional slot to their equipment. These slots can be used to apply an enhancement or enchantment on an item. It is important to remember that not all items are upgradeable. The rate of upgrade and enchantment depends on the rank of the item. The higher the rank of an item is, the more Zeny items will be required to upgrade it.
This system can be quite expensive, particularly for high-end gear. Upgrades to armor and weapons can cost up to 100,000 Z or 100 Carnium. As you advance in rank, your success rate decreases. However, you can utilize cash shop items to increase the chance of upgrading your item efficiently.
Normal Upgrade is the most basic upgrade that can be carried out on armor pieces, weapons and bicycles. It utilizes different core grades based on the kind of item. Most commonly, lower grade items will require cores of lower quality and higher-end items will require more expensive ones.
You must have the right number of cores in order to perform an upgrade normally. Click the button next to the item you wish to upgrade once you've got the cores. The upgrade window will then show a percentage indicator of your chances of success. This percentage is based upon the upgrade level and core nature of the item upgrade you've selected.
You can also choose the option of a security feature for your item upgrader mod (find more), which will protect the item in case of failure. The safeguard is not free however, the cost will be lower than a new item. The protection can only be used one time per upgrade and will last until it is used again.
The interface for the item upgrader could be confusing, but it is not impossible to navigate. The main menu is visible on the left and the upgrade window is located on the right. The arrows to the left of the UI indicate the various steps in the upgrade process. Click the question mark icon to receive assistance if you're not sure what you're doing. The process of upgrading can take anywhere from five to ten minutes.
