WoW Upgrades - The item upgrader mod Upgrader
Upgrades provide a guaranteed boost to specific stats. Each upgrade increases the item level by +3. A random extra substat is also added to every upgrade.
Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless the item level upgrade is not required by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like eth Titan weapons). These types of gear get less value from upgrading due to the necessity to roll for a perfect version.
Recycle Points
The item upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by offering the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be made on any type of weapon or armor. The item used to upgrade the item will be consumed and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create enhancements.
The upgrader can be found in all major cities, and can be accessed anytime to upgrade your gear. It is recommended to visit the upgrader once every few weeks, to keep your equipment up to date.
Upgrades will cost more, based on the level of the item but they will always be cheaper than buying new gear. Upgrades like upgrading a Benthic chest to ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. A similar item level upgrade will cost you 105.
Valorstones
Upgrades are useful items that are used to level up weapons and tools, armor and other items. Players can purchase them from item upgraders NPCs for a variety of currencies. They can also find them in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade can be used on any tool, weapon, or armor. button, which will show an item's preview when it is upgraded if the player has sufficient materials.
The cost of upgrading varies based on the item slot, and the current level of the item. For instance weapons are more expensive than gloves, bracers, or bracers. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones and a few crests, with some upgrades offering discounts to reduce the cost of the Flightstones or the crests used. Once an item is upgraded to a certain amount it can be re-downgraded and sold to the upgrader for a lower price.
Many locations have upgraders for their items in addition to the main island and some outposts. The NPCs offer both an upgrade coupon and a possibility of getting the latest recipe. The discount for upgrades increases with the number of items that are being upgraded. It is also possible to be increased by having players complete some specific achievements or quests.
Icewind Dale does not have an item upgrader at the beginning unlike Cromwell from Baldur's gate II. The NPCs who can facilitate upgrades are only available through a variety of methods. This is both a benefit and an issue.
In Season 3, several new features have been added to the upgrade system. Once a player obtains an upgrade to a particular level for an item in an armor slot, upgrading additional items to that level will cost less even when they are part of a different gear set.
The discount applies to all accounts. The amount of Harbinger Crests required for upgrades is also cut and is not available until players reach certain milestones in their achievement.
Crests
When upgrading gear in WoW players have a variety of options. Flightstones are an item that is available to everyone who wants to upgrade. Crests are more specialized and are utilized during specific item level upgrades. Crests are the main component of the Dragonflight gear progression system that was introduced in 10.1, and come in 4 ranks.
First, you should know that crests are only available for gear with a certain rank. Each rank has distinct upgrade paths. The simplest and most straightforward upgrade process costs just 15 crests while the more complex one may require as many as 20 crests based on the type of gear that is being upgraded.
Players can earn crests through finishing tasks at the appropriate level. This could be by doing outdoor activities, or by taking on dungeons and raids of all difficulties to get lower-tier gear or Mythicbosses of raids or dungeons with a heroic difficulty to obtain endgame gear. Crests can be exchanged at an upgrader NPC like Cuzolth in Dornogal or Vaskarn in Valdrakken to get the appropriate upgrade routes and steps.
Using these new currencies isn't too difficult however, the system does introduce some modifications to the upgrade process. When a piece of equipment attains the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer), it will no longer require Flightstones. This change lets players upgrade their equipment to the highest possible level on all of their characters, instead of relying on seasonal loot.
It's also crucial to choose crests in a wise manner, as they only have one use. For instance it's Best item upgrader to utilize all of your Whelpling rank crests on the top equipment you have and keep Drake and Wyrm crests to use for the next set of upgrades you're planning to make. This is particularly true for items like rings and trinkets that take up multiple slots on the character, that will be able to benefit from the account-wide discount when all slots are filled with high-quality equipment.(Image: https://cases.gg/_next/image?url=https2F2Ffaf17c4b8a286b47de428217395bf1ef93009d74_full.jpg&w=96&q=75)
