World of Warcraft - item level upgrade Upgrading
Item upgrading allows players to boost the gear score of an item upgrader mod up to 700, and then add a final perk. Items can be upgraded by keeping them in inventory before heading to the kiln.
Certain items can be upgraded to benefit from their unique stats (like a perfectly made breakpoint armour that can be rolled to use in melee PvP) while other items, such as weapons don't change much post upgrade, and therefore aren't worth upgrading.
Weapons
Upgrades to weapons can boost their numerical stats, like attack damage, crit chance, and PvE/PvP damage. Weapons also come with a flat bonus which increases their damage per second. Some weapons also have a fixed bonus which is activated when three or more identical weapons are used in a group. In some cases this bonus can add up to more than the amount of damage a weapon is able to upgrade on its own.
The cost of upgrading a weapon is based on the nature of the weapon as well as its current level. For instance, a +2 weapon will require two regular Smithing Stones to upgrade while an upgrade of +3 requires four. The number of stones required to upgrade a weapon will increase until it needs more Smithing Stones. At that point it will reset to one.
Upgrading weapons will also reroll their base stats. This is usually a good factor, but it could also have negative effects. Upgrades can make things impossible to use, unless you are very lucky.
Armor items can be upgraded to improve their effectiveness. For example, if you upgrade a helm or chest, this will increase its defense base while gloves and belts improve their required strength and dexterity. Armor has a rerolling option for its Enhanced Defense%. This means that it may reduce its value.
The upgrade template for a weapon displays the new stats it will gain when upgraded and their relative values. This means that an upgrade from an 8 attack-damage sword to an 11-attack-damage sword will result in a weapon gaining 3% of attack damage. The 3% doesn't mean that the weapon will strike 3 times less, as it is an absolute number.
Rerolling a weapon is possible by pressing the green button in the item upgrade menu with the arrows that are circling. This will reroll the item and alter its stats, but it won't reset the weapon's levels or connect to the status of your account.
Armor
A few upgrades to your armor can make all the difference to your survivability. Certain sets offer massive improvements in the resistance to poison, curses, fire, and magic. This makes it easier to navigate difficult terrains. In general, the greater defense you have on your character, the more health you'll gain from each point. So, it's best to upgrade your armor.
You can upgrade your armor by visiting one of the Great Fairy Fountains. There are four of them, and each requires you to complete a special side-quest involving the Stable Trotters musical troupe. After you've completed the main quest and the associated fountains, you can talk to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the menu for upgrading armor.
The amount of materials required to upgrade each piece of armor is different. In general, you're looking at anything from three to ten Red Chuchu jellies and 10 Rupees for the first upgrade, and then anywhere from five Rubies and 10 Fire-Breath Horns for each subsequent one. For instance the Champion Leathers can be upgraded to +5 defense, allowing you to keep up with a decent-sized group of enemies in the majority of cold environments and the Snowquill Headdress can be upgraded up to +20 defense, granting you enough protection to survive an entire raid with a few friends.
You can't upgrade armor in the same way as weapons. If you're playing as a Warrior, you should focus on upgrading your armor to increase physical power or the power of spells. It's also worth saving your armor upgrades for the armor you'll still be wearing at the end of the game, like the Ring of Lightning and Spectral Shield or the helmet you wear for the final boss fight, the Monter Parts Merchant's mask.
By giving the jeweler 10 Twinkling Titanite in Gerudo Town and you will be able to unlock some perks on your armor. Generally, you'll want to keep these upgrades for the weapon you'll be using to win the game, such as the Longsword, Battleaxe or Warhammer however, it could be useful to have some upgrades to your chest armor and helmets that permit you to sneak past certain monsters.
Potions
Potions are liquids that when consumed by the player, provide the player with a temporary effect. There are five different types of potions, each with particular effects and durations. Some potions can be upgraded to enhance their effectiveness. You can also increase the effects of certain potions by including glowstone dust and redstone.
Potion upgrades cost a specific amount of XP. This can be earned by crafting them on a crafting table or the Alchemist's chest. The price of upgrades changes depending on what type of potion you'd like to upgrade, as well as on the item's Mark Level as well as its rarity.
To upgrade a potion, right-click it in your inventory. Then, select ”Upgrade” from the menu. This will open an GUI that allows you to select the potions that you wish to upgrade, and the amount of experience they will provide when upgraded. Upgrades to potions can be made in batches of up to five at a time and the XP that they generate will be added to your current XP count.
Once a poton is upgraded and stored, it will not degrade until you make use of it again or break the bottle within which it is kept. Clicking on the potion in your inventory will allow you to change its name.
There were a few changes to the mechanics of potions in version 1.7.2. Splash potions, for example, now have a duration zero, not the 22.5 seconds shown on the hover display for the item upgrades. The table of potion constructed from four Wood Planks, and two Glass. It can be used in both Survival and Bedrock. Bedrock Edition potions aren't compatible with cauldrons, as is the case with Java Edition. Also, putting a potion in a cauldron that is full drains the potion and refills the bottle.
Finally, there are lingering potions that are brewed with dragon breath and splash potions. Redstone can also be added to lingering potions to enhance their effect. The table of potions is laid out more in line with the Java Edition, and new potions were added such as the potion of leaping and the potion of decomposition, and turtle master potions.
Trinkets
A trinket is a tiny and cheap ornament or piece of jewelry. It could also refer to an object or decoration that serves a purpose but is not particularly significant like a tiny thimble. In some cultures a trinket can be used to show affection or friendship between family members.
In addition to weapons, armor and potions, players can upgrade their trinkets. Upgrades can be made by paying the appropriate currency to an upgrade vendor. Trinkets like other items that can be upgraded can be exchanged at any time without losing stats.
Upgrade vendors are located at the capitals of every zone, and in some instances in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets can be purchased with gold, tokens or fragments of rare trinkets.
The upgrade of a trinket can be a cost-effective alternative to purchasing a new one. It can be done by players for as little as 12 tokens. The new trinket will feature the same base ilvl as the previous one, and will come with an additional 1% upgrade items bonus.
Once the old Trinkets are not usable, they can be upgraded. This allows a player to increase their power and value with time. They can be traded between players, making them an alternative to gold.
In general, players should upgrade their top-priority items first. This usually means the best-in-slot items for their class, then their secondaries, and finally other pieces of gear that they will not be replacing in the near future (for instance an earring or cloak). Players should also consider their class's preferred stats when selecting which items to upgrade. If Haste and Crit are two of the most important stats for a tank player then they should consider upgrading their chest, helm, and shoulders.
After they've become unusable trinkets can be upgraded to a higher level. The upgraded trinket will give you an additional 1percent bonus. Re-upgrading will destroy the trinket unless it is salvaged using a Black Lion Salvage Kit, or a salvage tool. This means upgrading trinkets is more expensive than other upgrades, yet is still cheaper than purchasing an entirely new trinket.(Image: https://cases.gg/_next/image?url=https2F2Fstandard3A2Fimg.clash.gg2Fe253375b9dc05fefe9de2fa8e46a7b13.png&w=256&q=75)
