The survivors can acquire reroll tokens by a variety of means, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in crates and chests or bought from the store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attributes of a piece equipment, for example increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can roll their equipment using three categories three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage done by melee and weapons while spell power boosts rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give the player additional health.

Leveling
Leveling is a feature that lets players increase the base stats of weapons armor, helms and trinkets. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials, and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will consume the upgrade materials and give the item an increased level, which gives the item a boost in that particular area. The process will continue until the item is at its highest level.
Items with upgraded base stats display a blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be applied to more than one item at the same time. Additionally each upgrade component will require a particular amount of items to be applied and an appropriate level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the left is where players can add equipment that needs to be upgraded, and the right slot shows a preview of what the gear will appear like when it reaches its next level. Once players have enough materials and has pressed the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.
A piece of gear can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small percentage. The highest level for an item is 19.
Once an item reaches the highest level, upgrades will not be available to it. Also, when a piece of gear reaches the level of a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.

However, this could cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.
Requirements
Item upgrades give players the ability to boost certain stats on weapons and armor that they currently own. The requirements for upgrading an item will differ depending on the type of item however, you'll usually require Dilithium and an amount of Upgrade tokens.
Upgrades to items can be used to make set pieces or weapons to provide added effects or a higher level of the item. These upgrades can be obtained through a variety of sources in the game, including crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is added to an item, it isn't able to be removed or changed without restriction, however, the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped without restrictions.
Upgrades can increase the Mark Level or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can boost the item's stats.
For instance, the helm upgrade ”Foundation of the Sun” increases base defense, and provides an additional 20% chance of blocking. In addition the dps enhancement ”Wildfire” increases weapon damage.
Some items benefit from upgrading less because of their improved stats, but more because it lets players get the maximum amount of value from a perfect roll on the item. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.
The game will show you the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that goes into the item. The game will display the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
