Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that converts from a single stroller to 3 wheel double stroller stroller by the addition of a second seat or glider board (sold separately). The City Select 2 Stroller, Eco Collection is able to be set up to a triple travel system with the addition of an infant car seat. In all, it offers 24 configurations and is a top stroller overall. This model uses Baby Jogger's breathable, soft TENCEL fabrics, which aid in thermal regulation and are sourced sustainably. It comes with a leatherette handlebar, bumper bar and belly bar. It is 20% smaller and lighter than the most popular single-to-double stroller available, the UPPAbaby V2.
It has a moderate-sized shade as well as an e-snap-aboo window which is easy to open or close. The telescoping handlebar is among of the simplest to adjust and works for parents of all heights. The seats recline and have a footwell adjustment button to allow you to position your child to ensure maximum comfort. The storage bin is roomy, but we wish it had an opening that is more secure. It's easy to reach, but we found the zippers somewhat frustrating as they must be removed completely and reattached for each use.
The City Select, like its counterparts, has single-action brakes that are simple to install and release by pulling a lever on the frame side, lower than the handlebar. It's comfortable for barefoot and sandals and is an improvement over the clunky toe-pinch brake levers that many of the other models use.
This is the only stroller we've reviewed in our review that can accept two infant car seats, making it a great option for twins or parents with a single child and a new baby on the way. It is compatible with all major brands infant car seats by using an adapter. We tested it on the Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30 and Graco Click Connect models as well as the Cybex Aton, Aton Q and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is incompatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. It's a good choice for families that already have a car seat and want a stroller to accommodate it however, you might prefer a convertible stroller that fits an additional car seat in this case.
