WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader
Upgrades can give you an increase in certain statistics. Each upgrade increases item level by 3. A random extra substat is also added to every upgrade.

Upgrades are not as useful for those with lower requirements because of the requirement to roll an exact version.
Recycle Points
The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by offering the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of armor or weapons. The item level upgrade - Visit Homepage, used to upgrade the item will be consumed and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be applied to the enchantments.
The upgrader can be found in all major cities, and can be accessed anytime to upgrade your gear. It is recommended to visit the upgrader at least once every few weeks, to ensure that your equipment is up to date.
Upgrades will cost more depending on the level of the item upgrade, however they'll always be less expensive than purchasing new equipment. Upgrades like upgrading a Benthic chest up to 385 ilvl will cost you 20 recycle points. A similar item will cost you 105.
Valorstones
Upgrades are items that can be used to upgrade tools, armor, weapon, and accessory upgrades. They can be bought by players from NPCs who sell upgrades for items in exchange for a variety of currencies, and can also be found in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade is purchased it can be applied to any weapon, tool, or armor using an button, which will display an image of the item at the next upgrade level in the event that the player has enough materials.
Upgrade costs differ based on the slot for the item and the current level of the item. For example weapons cost more than gloves, bracers, or bracers. Each step costs 15 Flightstones and a variety of crests, with some upgrades having a discount to lower the cost of Flightstones or crests used. Once an item has been upgraded to a certain level, it can be downgraded and sold to the upgrader for a lower price.
Many locations offer item upgraders, including the main Island and a few outposts. The NPCs provide both an upgrade coupon as well as the possibility of getting an entirely new recipe. The discount on upgrades increases with the number of items that are being upgraded. It is also possible to be boosted by requiring players to complete specific achievements or quests.
Icewind Dale does not have an item upgrader at beginning, unlike Cromwell from Baldur's Gate II. The NPCs who are able to facilitate upgrades are available only through a variety means. This is both a positive and an issue.
In Season 3, the upgrade system was tweaked a bit, with some new features added. When a player has an upgrade to a specific level of an item upgrader mod for a specific armor slot, upgrading further items to that level will cost less, even in the event that they are part of another set of gear.
The amount of Valorstones required for upgrades is reduced, and the discount is affixed to all accounts. In the same way, the amount of Harbinger Crests needed for upgrades is also reduced and is not available until players reach certain milestones in their achievement.
Crests
When upgrading equipment in WoW players have a variety of options. Flightstones are an option that is accessible to everyone who wants to upgrade. Crests are more specialized, and are used during specific item level upgrades. Crests are a key element of the Dragonflight gear progression system that was introduced in 10.1 and are available in 4 ranks.
The first thing to note is that crests can only be used on equipment of a particular rank, and every rank has different requirements for its upgrade path. The most basic and straightforward upgrade process costs just 15 crests while the most complicated can require as much as 20 crests based on the type of equipment that is being upgraded.
Players can earn crests by finishing tasks at the appropriate level. This could be done by doing outdoor activities or completing dungeons and raids in any difficulty to earn lower-level gear or Mythic+ raid bosses or dungeons with a heroic difficulty for endgame gear. Crests can be exchanged at an upgrader NPC like Cuzolth in Dornogal, or Vaskarn in Valdrakken to obtain the appropriate upgrade routes and steps.
The new currency system isn't complicated to use, however it does bring some changes to the upgrade process. For instance, once a piece of equipment reaches the highest upgrade level of any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic) it will no longer require Flightstones to be upgraded. This is to allow players to upgrade their gear up to the highest ilvl possible on all their characters, rather than relying solely on seasonal loot.
Another notable modification is that crests have one usage therefore it's essential to make use of them in a responsible manner. For instance, it's best to make use of all your Whelpling-rank crests on the best equipment available and keep Drake and Wyrm crests for the next round of upgrades you plan on making. This is especially true for items like rings and trinkets that take up multiple slots on the character which can only be eligible to avail the account-wide discount if all of the slots are filled with high-quality equipment.(Image: https://cases.gg/_next/image?url=https2F2Fstandard3A2Fimg.clash.gg2F33deff822019831d111ae35bd7f8f00f.png&w=256&q=75)
