Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller, Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that converts from a single to double stroller by the addition of an additional seat or glider board (sold separately). The City Select 2 Stroller, Eco Collection can be configured to be a triple travel system with the addition of a bench or infant car seat. In all, it offers 24 different configurations and is a top-rated stroller overall. The model is made of Baby Jogger's comfortable, breathable TENCEL fabric that aids in thermal regulation and are sustainably sourced. It features a premium leatherette handlebar and bumper bar, and comes with a belly bar. It's 20% smaller and lighter than the leading single-to-double stroller on the market, the UPPAbaby V2.
It comes with a sunshade of medium size and a convenient magnetic peek-a-boo window that is simple to open and close. The telescoping handlebars are one of the simplest to adjust and works for parents of all heights. The seats recline and there's a footwell adjuster to assist you in positioning your child in the most comfortable position. The storage bin is large however we would prefer it had an opening that is more secure. It's easy to access, but we found the zippers a little frustrating since they need to be removed completely and reattached for each use.
Like its siblings, the City Select has single-action brakes that are simple to set and release using the pull of a lever on the side of the frame that is lower than the handlebar. It's comfortable for barefoot and sandals and a significant improvement over the clunky toe-pinch brake levers that many of the competitors utilize.
This is the only stroller we've reviewed in our review that accepts two infant car seats which makes it a great option for twins or for parents with just one child and a baby on the way. It is compatible with the majority of major brands' infant car seats by using an adapter. We tested it on Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30 and Graco Click Connect models as well as the Cybex Aton, Aton Q and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is not compatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. It's a good option for families that already have a car seat and want an appropriate stroller however, you might be better off with another convertible stroller that fits an additional car seat for infants in this instance.
