A special evolution item that allows Porygon to transform into Porygon2. It can be found in Pokestops and Gyms.
Universal upgrades can be applied to any type of equipment and offer lower bonuses than other components that are specific to the type of equipment.
Leveling
The upgrade system allows players to improve items by increasing their level. The item's ”guaranteed bonuses” are also enhanced with the increase in level. Each level upgrade gives a bonus based on tier and increases the stat by a factor of 3. These extras can range from a +1 up to +3 bonus, to random buffs or debuffs.
Each item upgrading can be upgraded a limited number of times. After the upgrade, the item is able to be re-transferred into a higher-tiered product that has the same or greater value.
This system is very useful for players who wish to obtain gear with a certain level of stats before they have the opportunity to obtain the latest item. The transfer system enables players to avoid the waste of upgrade materials and is easy to use.
upgrade item materials are gathered when a player clears content and can be used to enhance or replace an item. Each item Upgrader Mod requires a particular kind of upgrade material. Weapons require Destruction Stones, while armor requires Guardian or Harmony Leapstones. These materials are renamed when the item is upgraded, for example Stone Fragments become Stones and Harmony Shards become Life Shards.
Item upgrade is important for enhancing the performance of a character, but it is important to consider the cost prior to making any changes. The cost of upgrading an item could be a significant amount of gold that could have been better spent on new gear. This is why it is recommended to upgrade only the most important items in any given scenario.
This implies upgrading the weapon, then the legs, chest, and the helm. If the player is able to afford it then upgrading trinkets should be done at this point to maximize their potential for procs. For instance, a top-of-the-line Throne of Thunder trinket may be worth upgrading to get increased damage from its procs. However, certain trinkets aren't worth upgrading in the absence of significant improvements in a specific build. This is particularly the case for breakpoint equipment that is used to boost stats, such as IAS or FHR.
Rerolling
Rerolling is a method that lets players alter the stats of the weapon, armor or ring, based on the kind. It can be used to replace existing bonuses or add new ones. It can also be used to change the item's base power.
Rerolling is an effective way to increase your power in the initial stages of the game, it's not a mandatory part of the process. Once you've reached your goal of upgrading to level 6 it's best to take a step back and locate the best upgrades that you can or save for the next group of items. This will help you to have a strong team at the time you achieve the level 9 upgrade goal.
The process of rerolling is similar to the system of leveling up. Reroll tokens can be used to take away any Level Up option and replace it with a different one. However unlike Level Up, reroll tokens don't reset the item's level. This means that when you roll an upgraded item, it won't be at the same level and won't be able to enjoy its additional bonus.
Players can also use a special mechanic, Eliminate, to remove any level Up option they have on their equipment or weapons. This is helpful if you've lost a gacha or you want to reroll an item that has five stars. You'll need to set up an account from scratch or sign in via social media.
In the same way, there is an Occultist in every town who can be contacted to alter a weapon's or armor's Aspects, stats, or attributes. This is helpful if are looking to improve your epic five-star character or when your four-star elite character is giving you trouble.
Another method to reroll an item is to use the rerolling tokens obtained by completing quests. They can be bought from the Occultist for 300 gold, or you can find them in the holozon containers that are dropped after having completed certain dungeons. You can then reroll any weapon, armor, or ring by moving the icon with the lock to the desired slot on your unit's page.
Sets
A set is a collection of things that have a certain amount of similarity. Sets are used every day, such as dozen eggs or a set of friends. They are helpful because they help you organize things, and operations like intersection, union and difference can help you to manage them effectively. Sets are used in many different ways, ranging from organizing music on a playlist to classifying students by their grades.
In Nioh the game, Sets are used to create special effects when players wear pieces from a particular armor set. These bonuses, known as Set Bonuses, are similar and sometimes superior to Effects. While it is not explained in the game's universe why the armor sets have to be worn together to create these extra effects, they provide a nice change of pace when playing the game. The armor sets that have Set Bonuses can be found in several places throughout Hyrule as well as the Dark Moon and Twilight Temple.
Each piece of equipment included in a Set includes a set of Set Bonuses that are associated with it. The tooltip near the bottom of the item will inform you which Set Bonuses are offered. Set Bonuses are displayed in a box that has a red border.
Certain of these set bonuses are exclusive to certain equipment. For example, if you purchase the full Phantom Armor set you will receive +8 defense (compared to the standard +3 defense offered by most gear). Other sets can only be obtained through certain quests or by purchasing them at the Auction House.
It is also possible to acquire Set Bonuses on multiple pieces of equipment at the same time. If you have the entire Kestra's Descent Set and the corresponding pieces of Twinblade of Shadow, you will receive the + version of the set's bonus if you match them.
Set Bonuses remain the same, even if the equipment to which they are connected is upgraded. If an item's exemplar is too low, then the set bonus won't work.
Set bonuses
Set bonuses are special effects which appear on an item set, and provide a bonus to the player in battle. They offer a specific percentage of a specific attribute, such as damage to weapons, defenses or resistances. They do not stack however, only one of them will work at any given moment. The amount of a certain stat is determined by the number of pieces of the set are worn, so you can have three chests and one armor and four weapons, for instance. but only the one with the highest bonus will be of benefit to you.
Generally, they boost the primary stats of a piece, but some also boost secondary ones too. Defense bonuses boost three positional defense values and two types of defenses, so for example a complete five-piece set of Hundings Rage will add up to a total of about 400 defenses in your equipment. This is a significant increase in your gear, particularly as melee characters.
This is a very useful feature, and it is believed to be among the most popular features in the game. There are currently only a handful of sets of gear have set bonuses. They are only available on the Test Realm. However, the number of set bonuses is expected to increase once the update is made available. For example, the incredibly popular 7 school specific Dragoon's gear will have its bonus added to it when the update hits Live.
Set bonuses cannot be stacked within a set, but they can stack across sets. This is ideal for players who want to make the most efficient combination of sets. It does require some planning. Since set bonuses only affect the shell of the equipment (not the armoring, mod or the enhancement), you have to be aware of where you place them.
It is important to note that the amount of the set's bonus won't change even if your exemplar level is more than three levels lower than the minimum level that is allowed for an enhancement. Purple (Very Rare) Sets, PvP sets and Archetype Origin sets are exempt from this restriction and their set bonuses are in effect regardless of the degree of exemplars for an item upgrader mod.
